Raise Your Voice Against Online Harassment (RYVAOH) has been working on StarMaker (a karaoke app) to make it a harassment-free space for all users. The following survey was sent to users to give us feedback on our work. The survey questions were asked in both English and Hindi. We received over 250 responses.

Nearly 3 in 4 respondents said RYVAOH has made a difference in curbing online harassment on the StarMaker app.

Majority of respondents also reported reduced response time and increased effectiveness to harassment complaints by the appmaker.

Over 8 in 10 respondents said RYVAOH was successful in supporting victims, changing bystander attitudes towards online harassment and spreading public awareness about these problems on the platform.

Most importantly, over 8 in 10 respondents reported an improved perception of safety due to RYVAOH's presence on the app.
